That's a lot for anyone to take in. If you feel you need a break from these interviews, can you ask them? I can see how traumatising this can be and sometimes, just knowing someone is there holding your hand can be helpful.

I'm proud of you. I hear you have come so far. You have done what you can to better yourself. You defied the odds to be the person you are today. People were, are and will be proud of you.

My day is going well so far, really didn't want to get out of bed, I actually dreamed for a change, about some radio presenters... but at least it wasn't nightmares right?

It's like when I get home my body goes "you can stop holding it together now" and I get really shaky from all the triggers that I now have time to process

Totally! I get that!!!! It's like you do your best to hold it in all day, and when you get home, you just 'let it go'.
People around me at home used to say, "Why can you be 'good' for other people but when you come home, you're horrible". I was so hurt because it sounded like they thought I was bunging it on and could control it...
If only they knew.
What do you do to feel better when you are this way @avant-garde ?

I have a pulse oximeter that I use when I get home and that way my mind doesn't panic about the panic because I breathe and watch the number come down because I know I do have the skills to settle
