@tyme honestly what keeps me from falling apart right now is pain I feel like it would be unfair to add to the stress in the family after we've been through three funerals in a month. So as long as I can feel pain I can keep connected to reality. Yes I have sh but my main pain source right now is my fresh tattoos and fractured toe

You know yourself best. If you feel you need to reach out to emergency, please do.
I'll check-in with you over the weekend @Twilightsomniac
Take care. I'm logging off now.

@tymei actually feel I don't know myself at all because everyone else is always telling me what I need or should do or I'm to busy ignoring myself to help others even though I'm drowning.
Side note accidentally got a new source of pain. I was eating chips and a sharp bit got caught in my throat and scratched it so now I'm using that pain cause it's the strongest at the moment

@Alisse besides a psychiatrist prescribing medication , what is the difference between the support from a professional and the support that you can offer here ?

@mb3 I think the difference is that when advice is given here they still have to say consult a professional as we don't have koalafications but we've been where you are while professionals can give advice and say we don't have personal experience but we got koalafications so listen to us.
That's my opinion anyway

Thanks for sharing @Twilightsomniac
You're right. We're a peer to peer site so it's important we point you to clinical professionals (unfortunately, as you said, they may not have the lived experience).
I really think lived experience can so so so powerful. Who knows? There may be people following on who are being supported by you and your very posts 🙂

@Twilightsomniac I know things are serious, but you took time to explain some of the possible ethical parameters of some forum protocols. Lived Experience can be a boon for us all…. Better than a professional who has a problem with lacking compassion or too much arrogance. It’s not a complete fixit though. Just company, normalising, hopefully a distraction while the person finds a better sense of things.
I just had to say I love your term, koalafications, made my day. Humour sometimes can help in the dark days. I have gained some dignity from Mad Pride…. I am going to imagine koalas running amok when dealing with… pros…lol

@Appleblossom, @tyme, @mb3, @Alisse, @Ru-bee,
Thankyou all for talking to me i am going to go to the hospital but I'm trying to hold out til Tuesday so everyone is back from travels and hubby will have help with the kids.
I say koalafications because it's how my 12 year old pronounces it so now everyone in our house says it

Well I love it @Twilightsomniac it’s a way to take the Mickey out of it a bit. Yes I know it can take work to get them… and all that… but then they blooming need to be able to use and apply the insight from whichever Kwol.. they got.
I actually have a heap meself… and I cringe when auto correct corrects me…I worked as an editor once, but feel I have earned the right to muck around with the English language.
take care
