Do you have something that might work for you in similar fashion @outlander, maybe a coloured scarf or something, a bracelet, long necklace with something that you can see that will give you a bit of a lift and sense of 'grounding' for want of a better word?
If you do, but don't know how to do it, may be we can find an easier way for you to get the same effect?
These are the times I wish we could send stuff ....
@Bella1978 I forgot to say there are classes in person in various places, for tatting, and for many crafts, as you said, there's videos online too. Hehe, yep, I surely did become boss of that shuttle! There's still so much for me to learn though. There's some awesome examples done by the LatterDaySaints, beautiful, exquisite work, inspired me to tatt the hankie edging and think about other things.
I have patterns for tatting and crochet, and needlework too, from the Antique Pattern Library too. I looked for mosaic work but there's none. So many others though.
Okay, time to go get dinner sorted.

OH, @Bella1978 that vase is lovely! Very neat lines, awesome size too.

you can adjust the image size before you post it, by choosing 'small', medium or large in the drop down box thingy.

I'll bet it was indeed loved by the recipient. (now I want chocolate too ... )
I finished the yellow edging last night, image later. Busy -ish day today.
