Thank you @outlander, you're very kind. I think it was my reaction to the suggestion of hospital that was teh deciding factor! I hurt my hand today, made me think of you and yours (which I hope is getting better) so not too much crafting going to be done. Started a new thread --------->, feel welcome to join in, didn't tag anyone as not sure who might be interested.
I did get my parcel of new tatting shuttles in today so that's really cool, now I have working bobbin shuttles again.
Crafting goodness to all who pass by.

Now we have unicorn socks/slippers (or one unicorn sock/slipper and the challenge of making it a pair) with a dancing prancing little person happy with the size 😁🦄💗

OOH, awesome @CheerBear waiting on image clearance.
New things that have been especially made for one are so so special. I'm smiling just thinking about the dancing prancing one unicorn-sock-footed little one.

OH wow, that is really special @CheerBear
Goodness how totally pretty and cool and just awesome! Ummm outstanding work, and outstanding use of unicorn yarn too. Can't stop smiling at them and the vision of little dancing feet in them.
I hope you're keeping some sort of record of these things you make for the littles so that in time they can look back and remember how much you cared/ did for them.
Puts me in mind of a movie book I read, The Sewing Machine. The lady and her daughter sewed many things and would keep a tiny swatch of the fabric and thread sewn onto a wee booklet kept of every item made, who it was for and how much it cost and was paid (iirc). Lovely story.
I can image you in a pair of these @outlander.

they really are delightful. I do know what you mean @outlander, I'm like that with lots of things, which is totatlly silly - can't use the last bit of something I love (but will keep, not perish) because then it will be gone.
I can delay gratification for ever!
