we are 40+ all next week, we have been getting really bad dust storms nearly every day now, it is really messing with my breathing.

Yep it's hotter inland WA @TAB You're right.

Apparently Port Headland (& some other WA towns) gets regular 50C.

Broome wasn't - it has lower temperatures than Perth, but it's really humid & muggy up there.

yeah not usually forecast as 50 @Adge  but thats shade temp plus its ridiculously humid there

The wildlife in Broome (top end of WA) is great.

There were so many Geckos at night, under the outside lights - hunting for moths.

& Ta Ta Lizzards (they wave at you) - & I saw a 6 foot long Monitor (or Racehorse Goanna).

We don't get any of those, down here in Perth.

Broome is only 600 Km away from Darwin (NT).

I wasn't so keen on dripping in sweat all day (due to humidity).

I feel for you @Shaz51. I had mine out 2 years ago. The pain attacks beforehand were excruciating.

Eating pretty plain, and low fat/low carb food was the only thing that minimised the pain for me. Oh, and strong pain meds.
