Re: Far and Away
Nelly has been sulking under the bed this afternoon @Zoe7 .... I have picked her up to move her off my desk a number of times, but this time I picked her up for a cuddle, and she wasn't having any of it ..... I have tempted her out with a sardine ..... 😏

Re: Far and Away
Well @Zoe7 on Monday morning its a coffee meet up with my Compeer friend, then the evening its the start of my volunteer work for fundraising for mental health. It will be a meeting to elect leaders for 2020, connect with new volunteers, hospital staff and our art therapist. Then the rest of the week will be filled on the other days with gym, healing circle, job centre, professional development, a morning of casual work and church. Then self care around that to keep it together.

Re: Far and Away
Oh wow @Valentine That is a full week. Glad you have thrown some self care in the mix as well - so important we keep that balance ...something I need to work on too but having a little down time tonight now some of my work for this evening is finished.
@Faith-and-Hope Nelly seems to be getting more comfortable with you even though she didn't want a cuddle - that will come. I can imagine her on your desk trying to help you with your work lol - not an ideal situation when you have so much to do but cute nonetheless ...hope the sardine works. Cat would be out in an instant if there was food involved Are you managing to balance out uni, D2 and the other baby dragons as well as the legal stuff - or are you feeling totally swamped but all at the moment?

Re: Far and Away
Watching a tv show I recorded last night @Valentine until I am sleepy enough to head to bed. Had normal nightly meds as well as pain meds so it shouldn't be too far off hopefully. Need to be up early to take Cat to the vet before work. She is just having her last food before she goes in tomorrow. She certainly won't be happy not having breakfast but they will ffeed her when she wakes up so hoping they do the ultrasound early so she can eat.

Re: Far and Away
ah yes @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope Cat comes running when I get a tin of tuna out of the cupboard - don't even need to open it for her to magically appear 👍
I didn't know your Mum was in hospital Shaz - did she have a fall or something else?
Glad your MIL's pressure in her eyes has reduced - that is really good news.
Cat has to have her follow up ultrasound. It should have been at least a month ago but her regular vet was away and I could only get her in this week to see her and the specialist on the same day - so tomorrow it is. Hoping beyond hope that there is no recurrence of the growth in her intestines ...or anywhere else in her body. She is looking healthy enough, has put on weight and has no other of the symptoms she had the first time so I am optimistic that she is still okay ...if not we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
