Re: A question for the ladies

It wouldn’t be comfortable @outlander just thought to myself god it’s nice to have and hear a conversation about the reals with what women can & go through without feeling like we can’t. Hope you do find out what is happening to you’re body.

Re: A question for the ladies

No it very much isnt @Former-Member
I dont really see the point in being all that embarrassed tbh its a normal part of being a female. Just thought id make the title for is ladies. If anyone else has questions etc they are welcome to ask/share

Re: A question for the ladies

You have had a lot of stress, physical and emotional.  I just hope that it is nothing extra to worry about.  Take Care Bella @outlander

Re: A question for the ladies

Hello @outlander and all others

As Appleblossum mentioned perhaps another can't remember....stress can play havoc with female hormones...

ovulation....

2 years is a very long time to be experiencing major issues with your monthly cycle...

Mine used to be about every 5 weeks...then came with a vengeance lasting anything up to 10 days....wont go into great detail but not pleasant....always had to lay down for at least a day ....

years later they discovered that I had endometriosis ....operation thinking tumour detected on vaginal probe examination turned out to be a large endometrium..size of an orange....also endometriosis wrapped around one ovary and one fallopian tube...so those two removed...still have other ovary & tube & uterus even though they insisted on removing at same time....I refused....if it is not broken don't fix it...

I have never used hrt....even though have experienced incredible night sweats...flushes...menopause....

I am a hard nut...I just do not believe in hrt...unnatural in my eyes...not disrespecting anyone who is on it as most females including sister have been...

Normal CT scan did not reveal endometrium mass only vaginal probe...

You might not have this...important to be ruled out though...

Well done on starting this thread....you are spot on @outlander..this is a subject that is part of a female and of course can be discussed openly...you are helping others who might struggle with such discussions...they can read and not feel alone with their issues..

You are a great ambassador for young females on the forums outlander..

keep on being you....Heart

Re: A question for the ladies

thank you for sharing all of that, it sounds awful! @Sophia1
they arent sure what is wrong yet, perhaps it is just stress, not really sure..
i just hope they work it out soon, it is a long time indeed to have this sort of problem without some answers...

Re: A question for the ladies

hello @outlander

are you under the care of a gp who is doing all of your testing or have you been referred to any particular specialist yet?

SophiaHeart

Re: A question for the ladies

my gp @Sophia1 she ordered blood tests foe the hormones that werent tested last yr then if nothing shows she will send me off to a specialist i think. she doesnt seem to care i just get shoved out the door.

Re: A question for the ladies

@outlander

Treatment by a qualified medical person regardless of position should be consistent with care needed..

If they run out of ideas they should refer you to specialist consulting in that area..

I had an appalling day at gp yesterday

did not feel that I mattered..more so that I was a nuisance..

same new go whim I did not like tone and manner..

It does not matter if 100 patients don't want to know ...I am one patient who does...I am paying for a consultation with a doctor who needs to follow duty of care...

So @outlander

all of us need to let these doctors who treat us like defected robots that they have no right to do that under the medical oath...

be strong....ask for referral as soon as you get results...

do not let anyone dismiss you....as you are worth ten of those who do so even far more...

the ones who treat us like this have a lot to answer for...

Please do not be offended or triggered by my tone...I am struggling ..

I just wanted to reload what I had not posted to you in response...

You are important outlander...very important....please do not let anyone take that away from you Heart
