Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

Going steady @Bella1978
Do you have something in particular of concern or are you just needing a bit of company?

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@Former-Member
The strain of the past 2 weeks have burnt me out. Want to help mum but think im annoying her in the process. I need to be patient. Just have so many emotions going around in my head. Feel overwhelmed

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

It can be so very difficult, we see our loved ones struggling, their annoyance usually hides some fear or hurt @Bella1978.

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@Bella1978I'm sure everyone here can relate to those feelings, I know I can particularly at the moment after a number of weeks of hyper vigilance and worry. When things settle or appear to settle it is easy to become overwhelmed and fall into a bit of a hole.

@Former-Member
Thank you Darcy. It's happenned to me before when mum was discharged from hospital. And our bodies are go go go, when we have a chance to just sit, thats when it all becomes overwhelming.
Are you doing ok atm?
