I think we need someone with Gough Whitlam's and Malcolm Fraser's intellect openness and ability to bring people with them. @PeppyPatti @Bunniekins @@They were two people who were able to communicate with the most dyed-in-the-wool left-and right wing politically doctrinaire and bring stability to the conversation.  At the moment we don't have that, what we have is people getting very hot under the collar and hurling their pain at each other. 

Even if that pain is valid that approach will lead to tears before bedtime, as they say in the classics.
