What I mean @TAB is the industry of the arts, including music is still very male oriented and aggressively geared to what men think is art, and it continues to underrate women artists and their art.  How many leading female conductors are there in the world compared with male ones?  And yet there's no shortage of very good female conductors.

The amount of times I've witnessed women musicians being shamelessly ridiculed and reduced to tears Infront of colleagues because they had the courage to make a point about something and show some initiative and assertiveness, which if a man did that we'd be encouraged and even applauded.
