I think it's innate in terms of Survival of the Fittest.
If we 'show' we are weak, the enemy/predator will get us.
What do you think? This is only my thinking.

My head isn't making much sense of things at the moment, still trying to settle. A friend said she expected me to appear a lot more shaken when I said that I'd likely still be quite triggered when I got to her place today

Hi @avant-garde how's you?
Mind if I chime in?
How did it feel for you to be told that?
For me I would picture myself feeling a little like 'oh so I owe you your expectation of triggered' but I guess it depends on the vibes of the convo

I don't mind you chiming in
I don't know how I feel about her comment
I only just got home 20 minutes ago and need to process the actual trigger from this morning before I can really focus on anything else

Sigh... Big day for you then hun, of managing all the big feels? (Or is that just every day for us? 😅)

I wish it wasn't everyday but sadly that's the reality

@Jynx I think you missed another notification... I tagged you earlier...
I get more nervous now that you'll miss notifications and that upsets me.
