Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 as in job prospects.

When do the other 2 girls arrive? I know you've met one, do you know when she's coming back?

Re: Not Coping

I applied for a whole heap and three more I've found. I have an interview next week.

I don't know when she is coming back. She didn't say much. The other one might be moving in this Saturday Sunday but I'm unsure @ENKELI

How many have you been apply for?

Doesn't help my centerlink got stopped because my parents earn too much. I at least got the low income health care card so that's always good.

Re: Not Coping

Hi  @Birdofparadise8 .    I had a heap of reconstructive surgery for burns mate.   New ear,  back and neck and  and my arm was given complete mobility.  Had a heart attack n strokes in the process so was in a comma for a month or so.    It was all stuff that should have been done years ago but did not have the money till now.  So now I look in the mirror and the outside looks tip top.  A great outcome,  with a few hiccups on the way.

What are you reading @Birdofparadise8 ..   I wish I could read.  I get through a letter or a few pages of a book,  and I drift off.  But my friend reads to me now and then.  I close my eyes and let the luxury wash over me.  Its one of life's great joys.  Do you have a favourite book..                   tonys

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 I've applied for about 20 in the past month. A lot of competition with school leavers, especially since they don't have to pay adult wage.

I hate how centrelink works like that. It happened to me when I went to WAAPA (WA Academy of Performing Arts) to study and my mum earned too much. It's total and utter BS.

I just keep applying and hoping something comes up. I was given one job but then the person who was leaving decided to stay.

Yeah the healthcare card helps a lot for meds and transport. I hope something comes up for you soon x

Re: Not Coping

I've just started the Paradise Clube series (Paradise Book One) by J A Low.

Oh, okay, I'm sorry you've had to go through that. I hope things are starting to get better for you. @tonys

Yeah, that's true, @ENKELI I'm sure we will find something soon.

What are you both doing today?

Re: Not Coping

Thankyou  @Birdofparadise8    Sounds worse than it was.  I have a handful of incredible people

that work for me so if I ever feel sorry for myself,  I need a good slap.

Paradise serries hey.   sounds intriguing.  You'll immerse and escape,  the joy of books hey.

I'm a movie tragic.    What would we do without the arts.  Well I hope you have a peaceful day.

Re: Not Coping

It's been good so far. I'm trying to get into reading, and romance is so good. I love the spice, hahaha.

Movies are good, too.

I'm sitting on the couch debating whether I will wash up or not and get dressed.

I would like to go to the gym as well.

@tonys will you do anything today or do you have to stay in bed?

Re: Not Coping

Gym,   I with you on that.  It always feels so good when you walk out after a good workout.

@Birdofparadise8   Plus ,  gets you out n about.    I have a lot of physio,  Gym, pool,  the usual.

While I'm in here I have been doing a lot of writing.  Making the most of the time.  Its been good.

I can stroll in the hospital gardens to.  Its been a much needed break for me.  When I get back home

I'll be,  time poor again.

Better go.   Have a beaut day and enjoy that gym workout.  and book.                                            tonys

Re: Not Coping

Okay enjoy your day @tonys

Re: Not Coping

You had love in your childhood  and some heart ache too.  @ENKELI .   What I like most is your mum

reading out those words and instilling her values ,   hopes,  and dreams into you.

Never had family back then,  but it found me at the other end of my life. I'll take my wins anywhere I can get them.

I was thinking how much you remind me of my book keeper.  @ENKELI .   Similar childhood.  Speaks Austrian

Men short changed her badly,  and the self esteem issues.  She put an add in the paper as a part time, in home,  English teacher.  and thats how she first walked into my life.

When she is not around I let spell check dig me a deeper hole,  and I'm always yelling out to someone

How do I spell this or what's that mean. I sold my business while in hospital,  but shes coming with me.

I tell you all this because I think you have the heart and patience of a teacher.

There are lots of old and young alike, looking for that.  Personal assistants. People that can cross

the tee's and   dot the I's.   Tend to the detail so I can focus on direction.   I would be  'nothing'  without her and a couple of others.

Maybe one day,   give it a little thought.       Its just an add in the paper.    Take care  @ENKELI    tonys
