So where are you having Christmas? Is it at your house? @Captain24
I'm confuzzled. I know you mentioned that your bro may be coming, but I don't remember asking where you would be for Christmas.
Sorry for all the questions.

Having Boxing Day night to yourself might be good @Captain24 especially if you are around family for a few days. We all need that breather.

Yes @tyme.
I have to cook the baked lunch. Mum and dad will come around. Then we spend the afternoon seeing nans husband and out at the cemetery. Then dinner at my place with mum, dad, one aunty and one uncle.
The weekend that my brother wanted to come, I’ll be at work, so I haven’t heard from them since.
ask all you like!

Why only at your house for both meals? That's a lot to ask of you. @Captain24

Because my house has air con and is a lot more comfortable. @tyme. I’ll be exhausted and a total mess after it.
Im just the good daughter. Mum will turn up just in time for lunch and just in time for dinner.

Fair enough @Captain24 At least they won't stay the WHOLE day lol!
It's the hardest when things go on ALL DAY.

I think there will be 12 of us for Christmas lunch @Captain24
Hubby will go pick up his mum xmas morning and then her partner will come after work. He works as a prison guard so doesn't get the day of work!
Then hubby's mum and partner will stay for Dinner too.
I'm doing a big lunch but not even worrying about dinner. There will be plenty of leftovers so just have that.
I know you have lunch and dinner at your house. It's hard especially when we can't just leave when we want too.

That’s a lot of people @Snowie. Do you have time carved out for yourself? I couldn’t cope with that many people. But I guess there is a few people so a few conversations instead of just one.

No they will just come eat and go. @tyme. I do all the cooking, all the planning, sort out dinner and clean up. So it’s good that I don’t have them the whole time but it’s a lot of work for one person. My body hurts by the end of it.
