I had mental health issues many years ago and have been well for a long time. Over the past few weeks those old symptoms have returned and I’m so scared.

i have thoughts of suicide, hearing voices and am really depressed. 

I thought this would never happen again.

You have done the right thing to reach out here for support.  But you need more I feel.  Do you have a GP or anyone you can talk to in confidence about how you are feeling?

do you have numbers for the help lines? These can be very helpful and get you through a crisis until you can get more support.

many here will identify with what you say and feeling so very low.  

Can you identify why these feelings are returning?  You don’t need to answer that here, and you only need to say what you feel comfortable saying and no more.

I'm sorry things are so hard. I'm really glad you have an appointment and hope that you get some support.
