Most chemists closed, but the hard part was getting the script. Our Drs are all closed too. Anyway, she finally got a win through Instant Scripts or whatever they are called and I went and picked it up.

Ah you got antivirals thats good @StuF. All the chemists out this way are closed until the second week of January.  I'm glad I do medicine home delivery with BUPA extras now. Let BUPA do the ringing around to find out whose open and get it delivered if the chemist is too far away. Making my insurance work for me. It good especially if you don't have a car. Was hit with a nasty drivers licence renewal before xmas. i keep my license for ID. They sent a letter with all the Photo Points at post offices listed and yes my post office does it. I'm right out in woop woop so its long bus trips to try and get to authorised Photo Points. My nearest Vicroads is almost inaccessible via public transport

Hey @StuF my BUPA extras has online doctors but wouldn't know if that was on public holidays or not. Anyway your mum got her antivirals which is good. It must be so hard for your folks right now. Getting old and being frail is certainly not easy especially with covid lurking around
