I've been volunteering at Lifeline in their book donation department - they sell donated books in their shops and at big book fairs (just had one last weekend which generated around 200k). Me and a driver collect books from a shed and take them back to a depot for sorting etc. We also deliver books for sale to one of the shops each week. Plus other stuff. I basically do that for about 3 hours each Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Quite physical. Get along well with the guys. And it's the kind of work I love - leave it behind when going home, no stress.
