@Former-MemberYes, it is exciting! I figured I only have enough time for one last pet so now is the best time to do this.
I know you've had to deal with such a lot, and still are, but control what you can control. If you think a dog will make you happier, then look at getting one. You may feel like the world is against you, but a dog wouldnt be.

@MJG017 pets make such a difference in our lives. I just give up on everything. I'm constantly being punished for just existing.

@Former-Member It seems like now is the perfect time to say FU to the world... "I want a bit of happiness" and get a dog. You've fought so hard to just keep going... maybe its time to go on the offensive a little bit and do something that will bring you some joy and stuff what the world thinks of it!!

@MJG017 i can't afford to. It's not even an option now. I don't know why I'm being punished so much. Other than being born i don't know what I did to deserve this. I'll be very surprised if I don't end up in hospital by the end of the night. My mental health is an issue but I'm struggling with my heart playing up again. I'm just done with life.

@Former-Member
You did norhing to deserve it. The universe doesnt work like that.... although it seems like it sometimes. Did I deserve to be told getting to my 60s is now extremely unlikely? No, of course not. Its just a massive bit of bad luck, but it is hard not to keep going "why me?".
No one wants to end up in hospital but if it can help improve somecthings, then you might as well be struggling there instead of struggling at home alone. Somwtimes there's just no good option so you go with the one that has the most chance of making some things better. I know its hard, and i know its exhausting, and i know it can all feel pointless, but some chance is better that no chance. That part is up to you, only you can stop you. You have more power here than you think.

@Former-Member Its not about me right now, its about you. I think a lot of the time the desire to give up, just means we've reached the limit of what we can do for ourselves and a definite sign that we need some support from someone. So use that help that is there for you and call them. You may not want to right now, but you'll be glad you did layer on. Let someone else take up the fight for you for now. You need that bit of rest from it.

@Former-Member Everyone here wants to help you, but obviously we can't do anything more than make these posts and try to support and encourage you. We done have to, but we do because we care about you. We know what its like to be struggling so much and we want to help as much as possible.
Emergency services are there for you. I'm sure they care, they wouldn't do the job otherwise, but it really doesnt matter if they care or not, they are there to help because that is their job.
So we're all trying to help you in the ways we can. None of us have given up on you, please know that.
