A belated Thank You for your wishes.
All my life I have been rejected or forgotten. My father was the first to reject and forget about me, followed by a series of friends and boyfriends and a fiancé thrown in for good measure. While I love my mother above anyone else, she too is self absorbed and even on my birthday she managed to turn it around to her. Sane is the first time I had actually felt I might be worthy of speaking to.
As Glisten and Peppy have mentioned, I notice the small details - I always have, it's part of who I am, probably because of the rejection etc. Unfortunately I expected everyone else to be me and notice I'd mentioned my birthday but no one did. We all have our own dramas and lives going on so I am trying to remember not everyone is as detail oriented and if you have never suffered rejection or being made to feel worthless it is not something you would pick up.
So I apologise for the dummy spit and promise to play nice with all the other kids once again.
I hope everyone is having a good week, we are ALL WORTHY OF LOVE.

Oh hun @ENKELI , yes, we do care very much about you. Often, the way we behave is a result of how we've been trained to respond... abandonment causes mistrust and hurt.
We get that.
I've certainly spat the dummy MANY times.
Don't blame yourself. We care.

@Oaktree looks like I'll be going to Bunnings again soon. I hope I can find a plant worthy of your name.
Thanks for your kindness xo
@greenpea same goes for you.
My garden is now named the Sane Space. Slowly but surely y'all are going to have a plant that I call by your name 😘
Yes, I talk to my plants. "Hi Glisten, I need to get some seasol for you. Oh and that reminds me, Peppy needs some as well..."
