Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

It's a song lol. I'm moving house tomorrow 🙌 then just the usual, gym connections and working on relationships @tyme

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

From my experience, moving house is so stressful! @Dk5 Hope it all goes well.

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

I'm settled now. So reliving. But yes a little stressful @tyme what's your favourite thing about moving? Buying stuff? Talking to removalists. Not having your parents around??

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

Moving? I hate the process of moving, but I love living alone. I've lived alone for AGES now and thrive on it.

I moved out of home when I was 17. I needed to get away from my family because I needed space for my MH recovery.

At around 23, I moved interstate to get further away from everything i knew.

So yeah... I love living alone, and I never feel lonely. @Dk5  I'm always doing something.

One thing I hate about living alone is having to manage food. I don't cook for one so my sister or friends pack food for me and I just give them money or I buy groceries for them.

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

That's awesome I really enjoyed the moving process. Just not something I want to be doing every year. Muchly agree being alone is solice

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

How's the move and everything @Dk5 ?

Did i tell you I moved into my house about 3 years ago and still have stuff on my loungeroom floor that haven't been unpacked?

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

I'm very well. Struggling a little day to day. Aww jeez @tyme

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

Sorry to hear you are struggling mate. What's going on for you @Dk5 ?

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

I'm okay now @tyme I was struggling with depression. I was diagnosed in 2018

Re: Getting back up after being knocked down

That sounds soo soo hard. Are there things that help you with the depression?

I was diagnosed with severe depression in about 2006. After trying all these different meds, I finally got a concotion that works well. Along with psychotherapy, things really improved. I'm still on the meds, but I don't feel I need them... but I'm also afraid of getting off them because things are so good now (and have been so good for a few years now)...

@Dk5

I just want you to know that you don't necessarily have to live with depression forever. I hope you find what works for you.
