Hey @CheerBear
what an awesome thread! thank you for starting it. @outlander told me about it yesterday. i thought i would come and share some mosaicing i have done ... these are a set of coasters i made for my mama ... seeing pics of my mosaics really makes me want to start up again ... i have all the bits and pieces i need. just haven't had the time or motivation to start. although it is very therapeutic - i can just zone out and focus on my mosaics. i will get back into it!!! 🙂 x

OOh, another person for the Craft Corner! Welcome @Bella1978! Waiting on your image to come through... Mosaics can be very interesting, can't wait to see what you've done.

I see them @Bella1978! Oh, they are very pretty! and such neat and clean lines. Lucky mama!
Yes, sometimes the images take a very long time to clear.
Are you working on any more projects? I've always got multiple on the go, depending on how I am feeling.
Mosaic work would need a dedicated set up space and lighting and all that, so probably not the thing to do while watching tv, I don't suppose.

Hey there @outlander yes, tatting is correct. I am working on a white tatted edging for a pretty hankie, and also, since the new one arrived I have started working on them with crochet edgings in various variegated colours.
For those following, here are the current handkerchief and thread colour ideas - they may change, but probably not. (sorry - edited for stupid typo)
@CheerBear @Bella1978 @Bunniekins @Shaz51 @Catcakes @OhanaSystem @Snowie @outlander @Teej @frog @Phoenix_Rising
I'm calling them 'Comfort Hankies' because I have been carrying the ones I've already made with me on anxiety laden trips and they work. Scrunched up in one hand, or in my pocket I feel as if I have something friendly and supportive with me.
Each one has a different embroidered motif, hopefully you can see them okay. I have sat the coloured thread I'm going to use for each one on the relevatnt hankie.
The green one I finished last nght, you can sort of see the eyelet gaps in the green edge.
The yellow one I started last night after finishing the green one, they are both so delicate looking, the image doesn't really do them justice I dont' think.
I decided I wanted a black edged one too, I may tatt that, it will depend on how I feel. I expected the needle tatting to be the best for these, but I can't make it work yet - the needle is too long and I'm not used to the process of it yet.
