Re: Far and Away
That is really great news @Faith-and-Hope
Thinking of you too @Former-Member
Watching a movie with my snuggle buddy in the warmth. Really not feeling like doing anything yet but hoping to get some motivation this afternoon. A few small things bit by bit will get things done then hoping to get into the spare room to start moving boxes so I can get to my books for the upcoming term. There is so much to move and nowhere really to put everything so I am aiming to make a sort of lane way around everything. It will make it a bit squishy but I can't see any other way to do it but stack everything in the middle of the room.

Re: Far and Away
It feels never ending for you Hon with both places and moves @Faith-and-Hope I can only imagine how hard that all is for you I am struggling with one room so two places would be so difficult.
Hi @Former-Member How are you doing today Hon? Only answer that if you can - no pressure to be here or respond. Very much sitting with you and sending you some more love

Re: Far and Away
Thanks @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope
My GP appointment is over and done with too thankfully. My MHCP review is also done, so at least I know I have 4 more sessions with my psych. Or 3 actually, since I've already had 7. Looks like I will run out again well before the year is out.
Unfortunately my GP stirred up all the tears again, just when I had managed to get things under a bit of control. After some questioning he said I appeared to be very down today. To which I had to respond that my Mum had just passed away this week. He was really nice, but unfortunately when people are nice, thats when I break down. Why couldnt he just be nasty or matter of fact, just this once! So of course I was back out to the waiting room with red wet and swollen eyes once again. Happy to be home again. Think I will just hide under the warm doona for a while now. My stupid brain doesnt seem able to concentrate on funeral related things right now. Will try again later.
Good to hear @Faith-and-Hope that things appear to be going okay, re your specialist today.
@Zoe7 really good to haer that Cat seems more herself these past few days. Any blood test results back yet? I can just see your snuggle buddy curled up with you watching a movie. Toby is so cute. Sounds like you have some tasks to keep you occupied once you find the motivation to do them. How is the giraffe going?
Hi also @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Snowie @BlueBay

Re: Far and Away
Hugs n hugs @Former-Member .... and if that’s what stupid brains do, then mine must be stupid too ...., COD I don’t have a funeral to organise, but I am snuggled in a cafe chair in front of a cup of coffee, and refusing to move myself ......
If the current chess-board-style plans even half work out @Zoe7 , it will be the start of getting things sorted back into an organised and home-feel order ..... there is nothing I can do but hope that is what comes about, and it would be good to have that sorting done, for sure ..... cherished possessions in their rightful place, unneeded ones moved on, rubbish or broken-beyond-repair things thrown out, and no more boxes taking up space, in life or on the radar ....,

Re: Far and Away
@Former-Member I am really glad your GP was so nice to you even if it lead to you crying again. You need that support Hon and also that release with your tears. It is not the ideal time to be dealing with extra things so great that the HHCP review is done. Allow yourself the time to snuggle under the doon with Holly and rest - the funeral stuff can wait for a while - you need sometime to yourself as well as trying to look after everyone else.
No test results yet but if I haven't heard anything this afternoon I will call the vet. Thursday is my vet's surgery day so I don't expect to hear anything until this afternoon anyway. They are open until 7pm so there is plenty of time left.
Giraffe needs to dry more before I can do another coat on his head. He won't be finished in time to take to school before we go back but that is okay - he will get there eventually.

Re: Far and Away
I completely understand that @Faith-and-Hope I still have boxes of things from when I moved 6 years ago Many of my photos and things from my travels are stored in those boxes too but at least they are safe. I have no doubt in amongst those things there are also things I can discard but for now they are stacked away carefully and that way I know they are safe from damage.
It seems like all three of us need snuggle time this afternoon @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member and it is lovely that we can share that with each other as well. I do care so much for you both - talked about you both with my psych on Tuesday and how important my connection with you both was. Life is just plain hard sometimes but you both bring a little light into my day by just being here. There are others here too that do the same and I know that so many are doing it extremely tough right now - if only words could 'fix' everything - but words are all we have and behind those words are so much love and compassion for each other and hope that they make a small difference. You both make a difference in my life and that I am extremely grateful for
