The magic of tidying

Re: The magic of tidying

I found a work around online for printer that wont print just cos 2 colours empty @Dimity  was happy til tried it. didnt work. felt like throwing printer in bin, not really worth replacing ink, same price as new printer. might get a laser instead, but not yet.

Inching forwards.  Took a load to the waste transfer station.

@Dimity

That’s great!

Well done!!!

Re: The magic of tidying

Hi @NatureLover @Oaktree @Shaz51 and anyone/everyone following along

I feel the need for some tidying magic again!

Life is overwhelming and I'd like to find sanctuary. A safe space.

I've been doing dribs and drabs. It doesn't feel like "home" yet.

Re: The magic of tidying

Hello @Till23

Just a cheerio from this old thread.

It's nothing deep or meaningful. I started it for self-motivation and people sometimes share projects or achievements.

It's a bit of a backwater of the forums but it feels safe.

Currently I'm revisiting old paperwork.

Re: The magic of tidying

Thanks for the tag @Dimity

It’s good that you have your own space on the forums where you feel safe.

 I felt I had to run around and do a bit of tidying up before the roofer came, in case he needed to get up the manhole into the roof cavity.
The manhole is in the bathroom which is fine, but that’s across the hall from my junk room. Lucky I could just shut that door.

The leak is in the kitchen which is also fine, but the dining room has boxes that I brought back from dad’s when we were clearing his place. Of course they have sat pretty much in the same place as when I came back from Dad’s. I must go through them.

@Dimity @Till23

I enjoy this backwater of the forums. I really need to get motivated and do some cleaning again. I have been so unmotivated lately.

Re: The magic of tidying

Hi @Oaktree yes I can understand that unmotivated feeling!

Re: The magic of tidying

@Till23 @Oaktree I think I'm motivated but not energised.

And highly distractible to the point perhaps of dissociation... I disconnect.

I'm just clueless. I know the why but not the what or the how; and the when gets away from me.

Re: The magic of tidying

I completely understand this @Dimity

I want to do things but I just can't seem to "get" to it!
