The magic of tidying

Re: The magic of tidying

I was shifting clutter from one room to another when dang it a heap fell off the makeshift tabletop onto the floor.

I'm getting nowhere.

None of my goals and deadlines have worked. But I'd like to make a big difference over the next 6 weeks, which is supposed to be the second half of my recovery time

Re: The magic of tidying

@Dimity

You are still recovering.

Dont be too hard on yourself.

Sorry the pile fell off the table.

Re: The magic of tidying

It's been too difficult lately. I've reverted to an old strategy of cleaning up the neighbourhood. Lots of SnapSendSolve reports and bags of litter that  I've picked up.

I'm still restricted in what I can do and I'm still taking daytime naps. I've had no household help for a couple of months, and had only 2 sessions total before that.

I think I need help but there isn't any. Maybe it's all in my head and I need therapy but I'm scared of going back to the therapist.

Well done on picking up rubbish around the neighbourhood. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Let yourself recover

Re: The magic of tidying

..what @Oaktree  said @Dimity  but clear your sink and sideboards b4 going to bed !!

Re: The magic of tidying

I'm ashamed to say I wash up in the mornings @TAB .

Thanks for your ongoing support @Oaktree , I hope your studies are going well.

Today I cleared some papers. A small win but it had no visible impact.

I got a quote on removing some tall old stuff from the backyard to give me more light.

Re: The magic of tidying

..I wash dishes when none left if thats what you meant @Dimity

I try and concentrate on what I can do now, as opposed to what I thought I could do, stopped and moved to something else

Re: The magic of tidying

Wise words @TAB . "I try and concentrate on what I can do now, as opposed to what I thought I could do, stopped and moved to something else." Mostly I don't even start.

I'm realising stuff I can't do like shift plants in the garden and wheel a bin of lawn clippings.

Re: The magic of tidying

I spot cleaned floor, did dishes and got bin out @Dimity  not much else. Will try and tick a few things not day to day things off tomorrow

Re: The magic of tidying
