Tonight I'm thankful for my local library.
And tomorrow I can begin again, again.

Tonight I'm thankful to have found something I'd mislaid, and I'm thankful for connecting with friends, for walking, for a healthy meal, all hard won habits.

I'm very grateful for the Salvo's and AA..
Knocked this up 40 years ago when Mum just . . vanished..
having a big clean up. Hope its ok I park this one here..
Grateful
Got this rusty ol pot
n beat up ol pan
Unloved guitar
Unloving ol man.
Forgotten faces
forgotten son
A street education
on best how to run.
Just leave the bottle
Oh that scar so you ask
Yes once did I love
and not fit for the task.
Last drinks n lies
to an empty bar phone.
So far am I lost
will I find my way home.
One for the road
then into the blind.
Wet bed of ash
Let me just loose my mind.
Old friends abandoned
Delusional glories.
Tired of telling
those blond bourbon stories.
Tracks of pain
down memory face.
Lock that cell door
I belong in this place. tonys Mb 1
Thanks for enduring.

@tonys you have written pictures with a palette of words and unencumbered brush strokes.
You took me to the time and place, like I was standing there witnessing the event.
Have you read Philip Larkin?
