Thanks to you both.
I have type 2 diabetes and find it frustrating at times the diet and finding recipe/diet guides.
My sugar is somewhat under control, so I am not over the top, but do find that the prices for sugar free, reduced sugar are expensive. Someone is making a lot of money out of our health!

@Shaz51 oh Shazzy, i understand how it must all feel very overwhelming.
Did they write it all down for you and is there a way to make things easier for you to remember steps? I'm at visual learner so drawings or graphics really help me remember.
For now, Deep breaths and have a cup of tea to relax. Sending you hugs my sister 🤗 ❤️

Hi @Shaz51 I am glad that you seem to have had a thorough session with the diabetes educator, even though you feel overloaded at least you have the information, that you seem to have been lacking before.
Did they give you any resources?
Also, hopefully you have another appointment soon. You can write yourself a list of things you didn't quite understand/take in and ask them next time.
Diabetes Australia www.diabetesaustralia.com.au
is a very good resource for information that you can access at your own pace as well.
Once you get into a routine it will be easier, but still not easy. So wishing you all the best and hear if you want to ask anything, vent etc

@Shaz51 Shazzy. Some Educators can make things sound harder than they are.
Any chance of having a do over with a different Educator?
They are there to provide you with a service. They work for you.
Tell them to work out a way to streamline what is required.
