@Just how did you come to realise the notes were for you?
I think being curious about the situation might help as well, rather than judging yourself.
Easier said than done, of course.
For e.g. I would start exploring - why does it only happen at night? Why is it left in the kitchen or the desk? What is the last thing you can remember that happened before finding the note?

Can't seem to stay focused. Thinking about the first time I remember having a deep male voice. Not my own. I was at work and my boss asked me to do something. So it was a bit of a shock for everyone working at the time. My boss asked who said that and was looking around and I had to raise my hand. Didn't want the voice to come out again @balance37

@Just I think it's helpful for you that you were consciously aware of this voice at the time. Might be worth considering other times this voice may present itself, or if it is only at work. Of course in a work situation, it can cause anxiety if it is unwanted and just happens.

Hey @Just , it's absolutely okay to ask. If they don't want it video taped (which is most likely), ask if you can voice record. It also depends on the organisation's policies. There's definitely no harm in asking.
Why I'm saying this, is that in the past, when I was in therapy, I had all my sessions video recorded. However, there were clear guidelines around what how the videos would be stored, what they would be used for, and how long they'd be kept etc. An agreement was then signed.

@Just You could certainly ask them and give them an explanation why (I presume due to dissociation you may not remember everything that is spoken about?)
They may also have reasons as to their yes or no answer which you could then explore.
