yard space and workshop

Hi

was wondering if there was any way you could find a shed or yard to leave a car that you can access when needed that isn’t going to cost much to rent and cost as much to rent as to buy.

that’s just to allow you more time to get a deposit to buy your own house with shed.

even storage sheds can cost as much as normal rent.

with costs of renting it’s just as cheap to get a loan and pay for your own than it is to rent plus you’re not limited and you have stability of not having to move at anytime.

just want somewhere to leave a car for now but plan to buy block and build a cheap house and put shed there but that’s going to be atleast 10 years away and won’t be able to wait that long for space for a car as want a old car sort of now but buying a place might be at least 10 years away and cant wait that long.

Just don’t want to rent a whole lifetime.

also know someone who is only 22 and has bought his own workshop with granny flat and wondered where he may have got the money for a deposit to likely get loan, just cant work out how and where he got the money so quick but can think of a couple reasons below, dont think the government were giving money to start a business but were giving money for businesses to recover from lockdowns.

1. the automotive industry pays more than hospitality does.

2. did hear somewhere his old boss at a marine place owed a fortune in unpaid wages, dont know if its true but did hear somewhere.

which reasons above would yous think is most likely

want a house with shed or 2 but just shows how much quicker he was able to get what he wants.

to buy block and build cheap transportable or cheap cement slab house what type of loans would you need and how would you get them and what percentage would you need if youre on a budget.

it may make more sense to buy a vacant block and build new maybe to lockup stage than to buy a old dump unless the price and conditons were right then may buy it and slowly fix it up.

the block is going to need nothing less than 1200-1300m2 but if it can be closer to 2000m2 it would be better

Hi Daisey are you asking for yourself ? Or someone else ? You sound like you really love your cars! That's great 🙂
