On Monday with my SW she felt really invalidating of my triggering experience... with what happened when I was staying with him and his wife... it was like she was saying that he did nothing wrong... that the abuse, the gaslighting was a normal response to my actions... that it felt like she was gaslighting me...

Oh dear @avant-garde ,
I'm sorry this happened which made you feel so invalidated. Were you able to provide your SW some feedback about how you felt?
I know from my own experiences, that sometimes, when I say things, I end up triggering others, even though I didn't intend to. It's good to recieve feedback so I know how to be more careful next time.
If you haven't already, would you consider letting them know? Not in a 'mean' way of course. But more a way for them to know what works/doesn't work for you?
What do you think?

The sessions have been less about what I want to get out of it and more what she wants me to understand... I'm glad I only have one session left... but if I'm honest I don't want to go anyway... She's not open to feedback... It's like in Matild
I'm smart you're dumb
I'm big you're little
I'm right you're wrong
And there's nothing you can do about it

How belittling @avant-garde
Or if you prefer writing? A goodbye/thankyou/feedback letter lol. I used to do that! A pleasant 'good riddance' letter?
