Hi @Shaz51 , thanks for asking, good to chat.
When the universe is not interrupting me I have an interest in eBikes. At the moment I cant do anything with that. But I am hoping something soon will change so that I can get back to this. I dont have furbabies, and struggle to look after myself. They are all cute though, and if life was different I reckon my partner (if I had one) would keep furbabies. We are lucky here, the weather is usually mild, and now is sunny with cloud patches. I am hoping the accommodation gods will prevail so that life and living can return to me. I had to stick to a routine of coffee in the morning so that the gods could see I was quite fine thanks. In fact, ive been doing that from many many years. I like the papers, they keep me educated on public affairs, ground me, and its nice to see the sunup with a coffee. Small pleasures can make the difference. I particularly like the sun on my back first thing in the morning, drifting in thoughts of the day, and making small (tiny) plans. Or enjoying the drifting mind; As long as it is something positive. It is all a lazy way of getting through, but I enjoy it. And that is important right?
Heading back to the house soon to tidy up after a lazy weekend. Its nice to be warm and safe for a change, which I have exploited to the betterment of my mental health lately. the simple life of quiet chatter on the TV, a doona, and living and sleeping on the couch. My SWs got me there.

@Stout I completely agree with you about focusing on those little pleasures in life.
Similar to you, I've recently started watching the sun come up with a coffee. I previously worked nights so was never up early enough to watch the sunrise, so now I make a point to open my blinds as soon as I'm up. I'm lucky enough to get morning sun in my bedroom, so I'll brew a coffee and then sit back on the bed and watch the sun come up and enjoy the feeling of its rays on my face. Such a wonderful way to start the day!
@Shaz51 I hope the flu hasn't been too bad and that you've been getting lots of rest

There's just something about traveling to the coffee shop, sitting there, listening to the world come to life, watching the traffic's shenanigans and Thier faces. It was a hobby, now a lifestyle. I hope the local real estate agent comes through for me. Then I can watch plain old TV. Can't afford all the trappings in life, so make do with simple things.

Enjoy your daily cuppa and listening to the world come to life! Great way to start your day and it is so reassuring to have those moments of connecting with the world. One step at a time.
Wishing you a pleasant day!

@OM108 thanks for helping me enjoy the day.
@Shaz51 @Ru-bee it is a lovely fresh morning at my favourite coffee shop. After waking in the night in fear I went back and had a nice sleep. Running late for the day now.
I know I said I wasn't going to keep on about it but it was just horrible witnessin Victoria Police ally themselves with a very public and common eviction campaign of me. Worse still they harrassed me around a dozen times at my flat. Not a care in the world for their victim. More worse is because of my publicly known health status, VicPol thought I was incapable of discerning the masses of gossip, or profiling them as they sleazed about the place.
What can one do when one is set up by the State?
And one knows the motive.

Victoria Police had three years to step in front of this eviction war, and 'get ahead of the game'.
Instead they participated in full, wholly commited to serve.

Good morning @Stout I completely understand you wanting to share some of this frustration. Hopefully letting some of this out allows you to go forward in your day feeling a little lighter.
I'm glad that you were able to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee this morning. Mine was a bit later than usual as I had some tradies over very very early to fix my heating system I might have to go back for a second coffee soon ☕
With this coffee talk I wanted to mention this thread https://saneforums.org/t5/Social-Spaces/Share-a-cuppa/td-p/1058920/page/853 Feel free to pop in and share a virtual cuppa any time
