I think I've applied for about 7 or 8 jobs; I've lost count. I'm patiently, not so patiently, waiting to hear back from them. I've applied for admin, retail, hospo everything under the sun. @tyme

Glad you enjoyed your brunch, that is lovely! I do hope you catch up on a regular basis, it's always nice to have something non threatening to look forward to.

How are you doing otherwise? I would love to be in Melbourne now with the mild weather y'all are having!

I haven't been online much today, have been pottering around the house. I replanted a couple of plants that I got for my birthday, one is a beautiful orange hibiscus and the other a hybrid kangaroo paw. I'm hoping the kangaroo paw survives as I've already had 2 die. You'd think being natives they'd survive the heat but nooooo! 

And funny enough I am wanting to get a bird of paradise plant (aka strelitzia) so when I do, I will call it Laura if you don't mind 😍. Most of my plants have names after the people who gave them to me, like a peace lily I call mum!

Hi @ENKELI   Bit like you today and gave the virtual lounge room a rest.   Its been so busy,  when I hit support button,  It can take 7 or 8 minutes to send.  Think the heat and full moon coaxes  community cries for help..   Had a few visitors and the day past comfortably.

I turn to the garden too when my trust of the world falters.  Plants seem to lack the cunning inherent in

people.      Bird of paradise.   Now theres  a loyal  friend that won't turn on you.   They seem to smile regardless.   Hibiscus,    I just whisper the name and possum's ears hone  in.  Buggers eat all the flowers off,  foliage next.

So .  yet another thread I have never been in.   Shaded lane.  Different  faces in windows.  Thankyou for tagging me here Enkeli.

Thankyou for inviting me over here. It's 5 to 1am. Idk what I'm doing awake. 

Working in the garden is nice. I have never had luck with plants. I have kept a purple & white pansy type flower going for a month now. I'm a proud mum.

I never thought of naming plants. I love that you are connected to nature. 

I love all the different birds & insects. They talk to me. I feel like you feel the same way about your plants.

I do have a tree that I feel talks to me. it has known me my whole life. I cannot explain this in any scientific way. This tree, has been waiting for me. It's almost like a person. I'm not generally plant oriented, so this is magical & little bit intimidating to me.

Thankyou for sharing. x hope you are sleeping soundly. I'm going to have another nap on the couch now.

Idk why - the bed is way more comfortable. I feel safe on couch?

Hello @ENKELI  Yes I have a little map on the wall so I can match names to the weather girls map.

North east Perth.  Thats my friend Enkeli's patch.  I love your letters too mate.  Few words I had to look up on one of them.  Love when someone brings me a shiny new word to explore.  Cheers mate..
