How did you even find that out? @Jynx. Or do I not want to know… 😝 A way to pass the time. Throw magnets at the roof!!
I hope all goes well tomorrow.

Hey @Captain24 , I'm just getting to some posts now. Sorry I wasn't able to earlier... bit hectic on my side.
I saw the birthday photos!!! So so cute! Your parents going away again already?

All good @tyme.
Mum has an appointment tomorrow 2 hrs away and it’s easier to leave Keiko here.
Have you been doing some self care over the last few days?

Oh, makes sense @Captain24 that Keiko is with you. Three barking dogs!!! Arghhh! You got noise-cancelling loops or headphones?
@Captain24 , I've tried to keep up the exercise, but I'm really pushing myself to do it... dragging my feet to be honest. Went for a bike ride and walk today. Need to continue focusing on my Big 3 - eat, sleep, exercise... I'm not doing that well in that aspect.
As for my MH and wellbeing, things have been getting better so I can't complain.
I remember you had a big week today. You had 2 appointments. One was the chiro and one was your psych? How has everything been? Your back? The shelves?
Thinking of you and hope you are okay - or as okay as you can be 🙂

It’s going to be loud and wild! @tyme
Im glad you are starting to feel better. You inspired me to be able to push your way through. It’s so good you know what’s your most important needs.
I spent several hours in ED on Monday with my back. I couldn’t stand up straight. Lots of drugs and my pain is still really bad.
My patch appointment was confronting. She is concerned with my risky behaviours that I may not be here for my next appointment.
I have made an appointment with a Pdoc for the 6th of March. Part of the intake forms was lots of ADHD questionnaires. Even one that my mum had to fill out. I find it sad that I can get into a psychiatrist quicker than my local GP!
Oh.. and I haven’t touch those shelves!

Oh nooooo @Captain24 THAT bad, your back? That's terrible! I guess they dosed you up on pain meds...
and yes, that IS so sad that you can get an appt quicker with a pdoc than a GP! You know what else is sad? Why does a person need to go to so many places for care? Say, you spent all that time in ED, but they couldn't manage your MH too. THen other times, you are in an inpatient clinic and there, they manage your MH but not your physical health. Why can't it be holistic care???
Actually.... hang on... have you ever had a 715 health check?
My tired ADHD-ish brain is jumping everywhere - sorry. I don't feel very coherant. I can hear your psych's concerns about risk. Did she do safety planning or anything with you?

They did @tyme but I can barely stand up. I don’t want to use all my sick leave though do I have to go to work Friday night.
I know. There should just be a one stop shop. Work on all the aspects of a person. I had to give them all the medication that I’m in. Not once did they ask what my diagnosis was and not once did they see if I was mentally ok. It would have been nice to be asked.
Never heard of a 715 health check. Don’t forget I live in the sticks.
Have you not been sleeping well?
The steroids they gave me at the hospital are keeping me awake.
No safety planning, it’s not some that safety planning will work with. She said that if this was the last time we spoke she would be really sad. I have to change my ways but I’m not ready too. I’m at the stage of whatever will be will be. Last nights risk taking was from not being able to sleep.

You would be eligible for a 715 health check. Do a search for your area. It is holistic health care for Indigenous Australians, and they can connect you with other services too @Captain24 Just a thought - may be helpful. When I learnt about it, I was amazed and thinking "Why can they use this model of holistic care for everyone?"
To me, it sometimes feels like everyone is so 'specialised' in their own areas that they don't even know how to give someone a bandaid!
I have been sleeping okay, but I don't feel rested. Maybe I need my iron tablets again.
Steroids! Ahhh, hope the pain eases soon for you. How'd you even make it to ED the other night? Did someone drive you?
I'm going to start wrapping up now - in case I don't see you after. You're on tomorrow, right? I remember you saying you aren't working until Fri?

I’ll have to do some research @tyme
maybe it’s worth checking into,
or are you getting enough sleep?
I painfully got in the car and drove myself! My car is easier than anyone else’s.
Im hoping the pain eases and all the sleep meds kick in so I can try and get some sleep.
I’ll be around tomorrow.. love to catch up
I hope you rest well.
