I really relate to your post - the anxiety and uncertainty of being a carer. It’s a tough tough road isn’t it? What things are you doing to self care (and I get how hard it is to find time to do that). 

How have you explained Dad’s illness to the kids?

My husband has had major depression all his life and now he has bipolar 11 , he was on anti depression meds with no help , now he is on anti anxiety meds as well now but he plays yoyo with his meds which does not help
