@MJG017 I would if I could ever catch her!

I wait until ours have just woken up, not quite alert yet, and get a quick cuddle.

Re: Life and trauma

Hi @Former-Member

Today has been hectic.  I woke up in the middle of the night, reminded myself that the nurse is coming over tomorrow for my quarterly injection... which reminded me that I ordered the drug last week from the chemist (it needs to be ordered in) and I completely forgot to pick it up so I went down this morning.  The remembered I forgot to do the washing yesterday so I had to do that this morning as well.  Otherwise tomorrow would be turn the undies inside out time. 🤣

Now I have to do that powerpoint for that presentation i've been asked to do this evening.  This I didn't forget, I just procrastinated, because I don't really want to do it.  I wasn't even going to go to this meeting.  I'm only doing it because the guest speaker always gets a box of chocolates! 😃  There had better well be a box of chocolates!!  It's 130pm, the meeting is a 6pm and I haven't even started yet. Well I have done some videos using AI for it as examples of what it can do, so I have done something I guess.  I still think they're doing for for free tech support and they'll all turn up with laptops or phones with problems!

What are your plans for the day?  Just trying to keep occupied while keeping cool?

Re: Life and trauma

@MJG017 oh gees, that sounds full on. Glad you remembered in time though and i hope it all went smoothly. Not the time when you almost have to resort to changing the undies inside out 😂

Procrastination is just great isn't it 😂. I'm glad you are doing it though and I hope that you get that box of chocolates that you deserve. Look at you go, you have already made a good start.

I got up had a shower, did my washing and folded and put away the washing that had already been done, did dishes, made bacon and egg muffins that I couldn't eat. Now I just feel burnt out, I'm supposed to be going to the shops but after the experience the other day I'm really hesitant to go. I'm sitting on my lounge colouring at the moment and chatting to lifeline which really isn't helping right now but I'm trying.

@avant-garde  She sounds like a very unique cat.

@Former-Member

I just finished the powerpoint, so hopefully everything works.

Trying is all we can do some days, and is a big win in itself.  I know I have plenty of days when even the thought of trying is so hard.

Re: Life and trauma

@MJG017 look at you go, well done.

Trying some days is definitely more effort than others. But the day is almost done so I'm counting down the hours.

@MJG017 how was your day?

How did the meeting go yesterday, did you get your box of chocolates?

Re: Life and trauma

@Former-Member @MJG017

I've been wondering if he got the chocolates too

And if it was actually a ploy to get tech help
