Re: Craft Corner

You could seriously sell these @Phoenix_Rising. Very talented!

Re: Craft Corner

@Jupiter I think I need to practice a bit more before I think about selling them. I need to learn to put them together a bit better to make them child safe. Don't want some kid swallowing a giraffe ear or something! 😆

Re: Craft Corner

@Phoenix_Rising Haha that's a good idea!

Re: Craft Corner

@Phoenix_Rising This is the first chance I've had to respond to your Gerald - apologies for the delay - emergency health care (stomach infection that went critical) got in the way and even cancelled out the apnoea testing for last night too. I'm able to walk today so that is a good thing.

Your Gerald is priceless. You have gained such excellent skill in a very short time, well done you. I can see that @CheerBear will have a co conspirator in her efforts to amigurumi take over the world now! Smiley LOL

You did so well with the placement of the facial features he has such a sweet face. Massive congratulations on a job well done.

@CheerBear I found the Sophie info and to where the patterns are thanks to your instructions - but I can't get just a printable pattern, it's soooo soooo detailed with images and notes and stuffs (which is good, but ...  ) and besides I'm too ill to be able to make sense of anything right now.

I think I will have to shelve the Sophie-a-long just now, but I will seriously consider it again after this infection is under control.

I may end up using the Rings of Change for a mandala vest if you'd be okay with me doing that instead.

Re: Craft Corner

that sounds rather scary @Former-Member i hope you feel better soon!

Re: Craft Corner

@Former-Member it's so nice to see you ☺ I have been wondering how you're doing. I am sorry to hear you've been unwell like you have. Far out that doesn't sound good at all.

Shelving Sophie-along sounds like a sensible idea. I have a feeling I'll be Sophie-ing for quite a while (mandala madness took six months plus each!). I'd love to see Rings of Change as a mandala vest

Re: Craft Corner

Good morning everyone ☺

@Shaz51 how's that puzzle going? I was vacuuming this morning and remembered to take a photo of ours for you when I saw it rolled up in its mat.

If I can find a way of stopping a furball with a puzzle piece obssession from stealing them, maybe we can actually get back into it 😆

Hope you're going ok enough @Former-Member. I finished one unicorn yarn sock/slipper but want to wait to check the fit before I made the second. The colour pooling meant it has two completely different sides which I think is pretty cool.

They'll match a beanie I made a while ago as they're made from the leftover yarn from it.

Hope the day ahead is a good enough one for all ☺
