Best Friends Club

Re: Best Friends Club

@Former-Member oh me too, I do a re-watch of all my favs across several years - Buffy/Angel, Avatar: TLA and Korra, She-Ra, Firefly.... I think you're right, it is like they're Safe Shows cos I don't get even the tiniest hint of the 'not-knowing' anxiety. Plus I can faff about or get distracted on my phone and know I'm not missing anything!!

Re: Best Friends Club

Hello Everyone!

Just realised I didn't reply here after being tagged a few days ago and wanted to stop and say hi. Too many comments here to reply individually but have been reading the thread and trying to keep up.

I've had a semi productive day, with progressing to the next step of my DIY planter box which I've been working on for the last week or so. Today I went down to the garden supplies store and ordered half a cubic metre of pebbles, (delivery on Thursday), and I installed the weed mat ready for the pebbles.

Almost time for dinner here, not that it requires much effort. Microwave satay chicken with chicken nuggets on the side. I guess you could say I like chicken then. Haha.

Re: Best Friends Club

@Jynx they are definitely safe things to watch. I'm the same i can sit on my phone colour or do other things and i don't have to stress about missing anything. I know some movies word for word cos I've watched them so much.

If anyone is hungry I'm making honey, soy and garlic stir-fry at the moment 😋

Dearest @Blackcloud

This morning I needed to drive to Fremantle to deal with my ex-husband's NDIS, his wonderful coordinator for NDIS, last home.

Yes,I should have probably done that. The boils under my chin stopped 7 years ago.

But today at 57 I got an operation that was really emotionally confronting but for my age was successful and my body looks better -

Another bit of My talk ----

I think it's claimable on Medicare but I'm getting

Lazer

To zap veins around my nose.

I'm sounding vien...... 😐  Sorry.    ....vain.

@Oaktree @Former-Member

How are you this morning @Former-Member ?

Can you tell me a bit about yourself ?

You seem intelligent to me.

@PeppyPatti

I've had several laser treatments on my face, do you know if you had the V Beam laser? That is what I've had several times for my Rosacea.

If you don't mind sharing, why did you find it emotionally confronting?

Nothing special about me and I'm definitely not intelligent, but thankyou.
