🙂 I'm a fairly plain skater, but can usually manage upright with reasonable grace. There was one guy there going around the corners sideways with his feet facing outwards- that was impressive! Mostly, though, the sessions are a moving obstacle course. No-one wants to bowl over a littlie, or be bowled over by one of the penguins. (See picture for explanation...)
When the session was announced as finished, the handful of adults on the rink took that as the opportunity to get in just a few circuits where they could skate without having to dodge, self and Hubby included. 🙂 I thanked the staff for their forebearance of us "big kids" as I left the rink.
