We had a decent storm this morning @Shaz51

Had our uni orientation day rained out and had to move everything indoors. Haven't checked how much rain but it was a lot.

Storms can be fun or not @Shaz51. I lost power overnight recently and was concerned about the food in the fridge going off. Had to use the flashlight function on my phone to find my way around the house.

It's much cooler here after some really hot and humid days. Am enjoying it.

The rain didn't hit us further south @Determined. Might get some rain later tomorrow. Thanks for the check in on my thread too.

Just spoke to my weather man (father -in-law) and we have only had just over 25mm. That was surprising as I would have thought we had a lot more than that today. Had a further 11mm last night.

Have had a lot les than they have had in Christchurch and surrounds, have a relation down there who is most likley feeling a little damp tonight. Have not been able to get in contact to check in yet.
