Dear @BlueBay Motherhood is such a darn tricky role. Like @PeppiPattyI also had a lot of issues to sort through re mine. We have had spate of mothers dying amongst the choristers in my choir so it is getting a little airing there ... its tricky as everyone reacts differently and at different times. We just have to keep processing it ... the good, the bad and the ugly.

@Silenus I pulled this thread up cos I was reading about the axing of Natasha Devon in UK schools. You started the thread about self measurement, but it can be external too. She had been an activist for mental health issues for the education dept. ,,, Cos she was critical of excessive testing of kids ... hmmm .. It takes 25 years for kids to grow up and they do it in spurts ... being obssessive about milestones is not healthy for society.
