Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

Re: Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

@outlander

you're right, she's not annoyed at me. im just an easy target for her sometimes though i think lol! theres times she just wants to stay quiet and there is me blabbering on ! i know she loves the company though but she is just going through such a rough time atm.

oh luv, i didnt realise you had chronic insomnia - you must be exhausted during the day yes? you said the meds your gp give you dont work anymore, is there anything else that can be done for it? hooly dooly, 4 days with no sleep?

yes, i have done just that, wrote down my questions for the social worker and what i need her to help me with, and also what i want to discuss with the psych as well. and yep, cant do much more than that hey luv?

i hope the picture came though ... its funny 🙂

Re: Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

Exactly re your mum @Bella1978 i hope thing settle and can be worked out for the both of you soon.
Im quite use to not having no sleep. My sleeps been worse over the past few days but have still managed the kids as pop and whatever else. I guess my bodies use to it but not good when i get infections or at all as bidy doesn't get the time it needs to rest and repair.
The meds the fo gave me didn't work at all. It gave me horrible nightmares so was up all night anyway. The gp doesnt want to give me anything else for sleep but im not entirely sure why. I dont have the bestt track record though and at one poiny inly got 3 days worth ao chemist visits every 3 days to get meds.

Exactly thats all you can do tonight lovely. Put the rest aside and try and sleep. Ill stay and sitwith you for comfort till you fall asleep if you like.

@outlander
I forgot to ask u how ur hand is luv? I just read in another thread that u feel it is getting worse 😔😔😔
Of course, if ur not well ur body needs to rest and repair. Not sleeping will probably nake u feel run down luv which in turn will make u more susceptible to getting unwell.
That would be a hassle going to chemist every 3 days for meds.
Aaw ur such a sweetheart staying with me. U put a smile on my face xxx

Re: Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

Still sore @Bella1978 i showed mums bf earlier today and he said when they get back we might take a trip to the hospital. The splints forever calling apart. It looks horrid and ive got a massive sore happening so its rather unpleasant atm.
Yeh i catch bugs easy. Last yr i had a kidney and a chest infection all at the same time. Ive got a lot of stomach issues and upsets but no sleep doesnt help as bodys running on adrenaline constantly. But will be ok. Just need to find what works hey.
I dont have to do every 3 days anymore luckily.
Your welcome bella, happy to sit with you anytime abit of comfort never goes astray ❤

@outlander
Oh sweets, imso sorry about ur hand 😔
Ouch kidney and chest infection??
I feel off tonight. But of anxiety, and headache. Thinking about tomorrow, plus mum didnt have a good evening. Im feeling stronger within myself, to handle what happens. I had my uncle's support but not anymore. It was more stress than it was worth at times. He doesnt understand MI, and had a go at me during the week saying if i didnt have depression i would be coping and handling mums situation better. It was really mean, and uncalled for. I felt i was being attacked by my uncle and my aunt. I will get supports in place.
U sleepy at all luv?

Re: Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

That was mean and uncalled for. Some people just dont get mi.
