My wife was out with friends last night. When she came home she burst into tears and said she can’t do “this” anymore.
I asked if she meant be married but she said no life.

she said she thought about drinking so much that she wouldn’t wake up. She said she hates herself and that she’s not good at anything. She hates herself job and doesn’t want to get up in the morning.

That’s obviously not true from my perspective. I asked if she wanted to speak to her mum about it or speak to anyone. I told her if there are things she’s doesn’t like about her life we can change anything. We’re not in a struggling financial position.

we have two children 3 and 6 and are married.

she’s has always been closed off too. She absolutely hates talking about her feelings and swears me to secrecy if she does tell me things on her mind, if she says anything at all.

I don’t know what to do. If I speak to someone about it to help I’ll loose her trust and she won’t share anything with me in the future.
