Re: Battles

Okay @Dreamy well I'm glad that you are reaching out, and I'm sure the community will be able to offer some distractions today - I'll be starting another hang out space thread shortly where we can all chat. - However just remember that if these thoughts and urges are heading towards a crisis then the best thing to do is to seek that immediate crisis support

Re: Battles

@Ru-bee yeah I know. It's a very fine line today so I'm treading with caution. But for now it's just trying to keep distracted and hoping to somehow ease the thoughts and urges or at least get them a little further to the back of the mind.

Re: Battles

@Ru-bee i found the motivation to start cleaning my pantry, was really getting into it but then suddenly started blacking out and had to race to sit down. Now I'm feeling really sick and my head is spinning. It's really making it hard when I need to keep myself distracted but when I found something to do my body decides it's too much for me.

Re: Battles

@Ru-bee i was doing ok for a little bit. I finished cleaning my pantry out. But now I'm having abuse screamed at me. My ears are ringing, my head hurts and I'm feeling so scared and overwhelmed.

Re: Battles

@Dreamy it sounds like that has been very upsetting. Is there something that could help you to self soothe after that? Maybe having some time to rest if your head is hurting, you've had quite a productive day so far

Re: Battles

@Ru-bee I'm trying to listen to music and colour but it's like a massive sensory overload and I just can't do anything. I can't stop shaking. I can't do this anymore 😞

Re: Battles

I can hear that you're feeling really upset right now @Dreamy is connecting on forums what's most helpful for you right now? Remember if your thoughts are starting to escalate there are services there to help you. Perhaps talking to someone on the phone could help you to regulate some of these emotions?
