Re: Natural disasters--- Cyclones 🌀 and mental health

Oh no @Shaz51  😢 Please stay safe 🤞

Re: Natural disasters--- Cyclones 🌀 and mental health

Not good, @Shaz51. I hope you're not too close to it. Have you experienced many before?

Re: Natural disasters--- Cyclones 🌀 and mental health

So sorry to hear this @Shaz51 no doubt you have an emergency evacuation plan in place. I don't know what to expect with fires over summer in Melbourne. I have been putting together my preparedness kit. Stress is no good for mental health. I hope you will be safe. Sending my best to Mr. Shaz, hoping he is doing ok.

Hello @Former-Member  @Birdofparadise8 , @NatureLover , @Dimity

Yes I have been through lots of cyclones and everyone of them are different

Some cyclones are fast , some are slow

Some are very powerful and others are just a lot of rain

At the moment this cyclone is sitting in the ocean building up speed

No one know where it is going to hit or where yet

Just have to buckle up and wait for the surprise 😮

Hey @Shaz51 ,

Thanks for letting us know. It sounds like a very unpredictable time. Despite being one country, there is such a huge difference in weather conditions, temperature, and... the effect of natural disasters.

Do you have a safety plan in place?

We brace this with you. Hope you stay safe.

Thinking of you.

Re: Natural disasters--- Cyclones 🌀 and mental health

Thanks @tyme

With my mum in hospital

And it looks like we will have to lock our place up when it gets closer

And go to my MIL who lives alone and is 30 minutes away from us

And my SIL is away so it will be us

So we are hoping our house will survive when we are away , but wait until then

Re: Natural disasters--- Cyclones 🌀 and mental health

My prayers are with you @Shaz51 .

It must be so hard to live with that uncertainty. It's the last thing you need.

Re: Natural disasters--- Cyclones 🌀 and mental health

Sounds worrying @Shaz51 . Hope you and mr shaz can get ready with supplies and getting stuff inside or tied down. I guess there'd be bit of a rush on supermarkets etc. Gosh you've weathered a lot in your time.
