Seeking mutual support from carers

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@outlander

wow luv, they're awesome! i think i remember seeing a dreamcatcher you made in one of the other forums too. i love all of them but my fave is definitely the one of the tiger! did that take you long to draw? id have no chance trying to do that lol

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@outlander

ok, so you wanted painting, you get painting lol

this pic is the expectation of what mine should have looked like - it's lovely, isnt it? i will upload the "reality" in another post

we could use different colours if we wanted to, so i swapped the colours around. um, so yeah ... this is the reality. when i came home i (jokingly) asked mum if we could hang it in the lounge room ... she said no lol! she don't beat around the bush that one! the middle looks like a weird looking cat face lol ... actually, looking at it now, i guess it's not 'too' bad hehe

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

that wouldve been the craft thread @Bella1978  i made one as well as drew one

it took me quite a while a few hrs . i was mostly drawing things like the little dolphin at the start of last year.

im waiting on your pics to pop up, how are you going?

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@outlander

im ok sweets, got some errands done this arvo so was happy with that - went to psych, officeworks and chemist.

anxiety chest pains keep reoccuring though. i spoke to mum's psych today and he said we need to wait for mum to willingly go to see him. she isnt at the stage that we can make her go involuntarily. i didnt tell mum that i spoke to her psych but i did tell her i think she should see him. she said ring him tomorrow morning and if he says she should go, then she will go. but im not holding my breath as she says stuff at the moment but wont necessarily go through with them.

hows your day been luv?

x

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

look at you go hey @Bella1978 and you said you didnt know if you could and yet you did. im proud of you Heart so whats your reward?

some people cna be rather stubborn cant they! i hope your mum agrees to see the psych sooner rather than later. i think itll help you both.

i had another panic attack while driving so thats lasting abit and making me feel abit sick. hands being a cow but all well.

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@outlander

aaw thanks luv.

im so sorry to hear you had a panic attack luv 😞 silly hand! has it gotten any better?

i forgot about the reward lol ... i may get my mosaicing stuff out and have a tinker.

what you doooooooooooooing? hehe im so immature sometimes 🙂

i hpoe she agrees too, i think im anxious as i have no control over the outcome. and i know that she doesnt need to suffer like this - i just need her to realise that.

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

ive been having so many - i think the last i counted was 6 in only 2 and abit days 😞 @Bella1978 hands not as swollen but still very sore and tender. i see gp tomorrow.

i think having a tinker with your mosaics is really good.

im not doing alot, watching greys anatomy and chilling on here. feeling rather tired.

your doing the best you can, and believe me when i say that please. its not easy looking after others at all. make sure you look after you too Heart

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

@outlander

im sending you big squishy hugs luv. anxiety and panic attacks are so consuming - mentally and physically. and the more we think about it when it's happenning, the more distressed we get about them 😞

nice to hear you're chilling 🙂

i know sweets, im doing the best i can. im being so patient and giving mum lots of tlc in the hope that she will see things how i see them.

ive just backed up my laptop onto an external hardrive - that way if my laptop dies, i dont lose all my stuff 🙂 ive had the laptop for nearly 3 years. hopefully i will get some more mileage out of it though!

i hope youre looking after you too luv
