Seeking mutual support from carers

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

Sending squishy huga to you too lovely @Bella1978
Its ok to be in a feral.mood sometimes think we all get abit like that sometimes.
Did you see your own psych today?

Your right despite her being take care of its not rhe same as having them home. Its good shes improving though and your getting abit of a break too. It does get frustrating having to repeat yourself but at least you know its been said when you spoke of it yourself

Pops good hea with his visitor and went gallabanting around today and has plans for tomorrow too.

Any plans for tomorrow?

@outlander

aaw thanks for the hugs luv 🙂

yeah, i was feral lol ... no i didn't see my own psych luv. i see him on an as needs basis. i was meant to see my counsellor today but was so tired i cancelled. i was in bed until about noon. just needed to rest! you know what thats like, hey?

yes, i have had a break but then get stressed when things like this happen - i am just very protective of mum - maybe too much sometimes 😉

thats awesome to hear your pop is doing well!

nothing planned for tomorrow. i may just tidy up and make sure everything looking spick and span for when mama come home.

what you up to today?

x

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

Yep iknow what thats like but i never get a lay in. My lay ins are usually till about 730ish at the latest if im lucky. @Bella1978 you must be feeling rather tired. Have you still been walking? .

Im hearing you on the over protectiveness but also know you cant be there 24/7 and moat nurses are really good and helpful too. Remember to breathe as well.

A boring day of tidying sounds good.
Ill be picking up siblings in the am then the drs and then not sure after that. I need to do some washing ao will try to manage a load or 2 sometime tomorrow.

@outlander

i walked yesterday but not today ... have been eating though lol ... seriously gotta get on top of that coping skill!

i understand luv - you're right, i can't be there 24/7, and yes i need to breathe 🙂 hard letting go sometimes but what you say is right.

i hope you get a bit of time to yourself tomorrow luv. let me know how you go with the doctors? your hand is giving you so much grief atm!

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

We all have bad coping habits @Bella1978 makes you human 😉
Its hard letting go because we love them so much.
Yeh sure will do about drs. Hoping i get a litttle more answers tomoz as its not healing well like a simple sprain or bruise. Its a big pain atm.

Are you headed to bed? I wish i could sleep. Need a magic wand.

@Shaz51
How are you today? I was wondering whether you take anything to help prevent UTI's. If so, do you think they help?

Hi @Bella1978

Just letting you know that we ask members not to refer to specific medications as different people can be affected differently. You can read more about it in the Community Guidelines.

Hope you're feeling better @Shaz51

Take care Smiley Happy

Re: Seeking mutual support from carers

Hi @ Acacia
Sorry, I was referring to any home remedies that @Shaz51 may use, eg cranberry juice, etc. I should have worded it differently.
