Re: Hope fading

@tyme hello I appreciate the warm welcome 🤗

Re: Hope fading

How are you today @Stargirl ? What have you been up to?

Re: Hope fading

Hello @tyme the weather was nice enough for a big long walk and then some gardening. How about you? 😊

Re: Hope fading

@Stargirl ,

It's been super cold here where I am.

I'm sitting in a heated room and looking forward to a hot hot shower later.

We are having a live chat later if you wanted to join. You can read about it here: https://saneforums.org/t5/Events-and-Updates/JOIN-US-Live-Sunday-Hangout-7-00-9-00pm-AEST/m-p/155560...

Re: Hope fading

@tyme am also in a heated room. There was snow this weekend a few hours away and it was evident in the wind which was quite icy. Yesterday was back to winter. Today the sun is as out for most of the day and do welcome!

Ohh live chat. Does that mean we get to see each other?

Re: Hope fading

Will give it a miss this time but might consider eventually. It's a lovely offer though. To connect further with others in similar situations.

Re: Hope fading

No, we don't see each other. It is text based chat 🙂 @Stargirl

Re: Hope fading

All good @Stargirl .

Hope you have a good rest 🙂

I will see you later in the week.

Re: Hope fading

@Stargirl  I've read your posts and situation, and worry my son is headed down a similar path. He is only 15 and still at home, but the lack of desire to be well/live differently breaks my heart every day. He has an ED on top of severe OCD, and  we are responsible for treating the OCD. I laugh when self care is mentioned...my job and the occasional walk of the dog is my self care at the moment.

I am so hoping that your daughter is navigating a better path at the moment, and that you are well.
